At Fair Haven Baptist Church, we're always excited to welcome new visitors! We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come on a Sunday to Sunday School at 9:30 am or to one of the services at 10:30 am or 6 pm or on a Wednesday to Prayer Meeting at 10:30 am or 7 pm.
Our church is located at 34850 Marquette Street in Westland, Michigan, and parking is located behind the church. If you have mobility restrictions, we offer valet parking. If you pull up near either set of the glass entry doors, one of the men inside will park your vehicle. At the conclusion of the service, they will drive your vehicle back up to the front of the church. Their goal is to provide a secure parking service to make it easier for people to come to church. The men are available Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday evenings.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get His approval - that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. Jeans are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both.
When you walk in, there will be greeters at the door, and they can show you where everything is. They'll help you find the Nursery and children’s Sunday School rooms if you have kids. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms and sanctuary. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.
At Fair Haven, we preach and teach from the King James Version of the Bible. However, feel free to use whatever version you prefer for personal study or during services.
If you’d like to stay around for a few minutes after the service, you'll have a chance to meet our pastor and many other people in the church. We'd love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come!
