When God’s people give as an act of worship, we acknowledge God as the Giver of everything we have, and it reflects our trust that He will continue to provide for our needs. Giving back to God through the church also allows us as believers to be part of God’s work here on earth and, most importantly, to further spread the good news of Jesus Christ to those who have never heard.
At Fair Haven, we'll continue to take an offering during each service for people who prefer to give by cash or check. Anyone who would like to give to Fair Haven Baptist Church online is welcome to do so on our church website through PayPal. The system makes it easy to quickly transfer money from a bank account or debit card to the church safely and securely. One-time gifts and recurring withdrawals can both be set up, and gifts can be given either to the church"s general fund or a specific church project or ministry.
Giving is an important aspect of the Christian life. After all, Luke records that Jesus himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35).
