The Fair Haven Senior Outreach Ministry has two purposes: to spread the Good News of Jesus to those in assisted living and other facilities and to provide such people with spiritual nutrition - the opportunity to worship together and to learn from the Word of God.
Marquette House/American House Westland II
Brother Bob Kahl coordinates successful ministries at the Marquette House in Westland and at the American House on Joy Road near Hix. Teams of dedicated believers provide worship services every Monday evening at 7 pm featuring special music (solo, duet, group, and instrumental), and the preaching of God's Word. Residents really enjoy the opportunity to fellowship with each other and with church volunteers. For more information, please contact Brother Kahl through the church office at (734) 728-4549.
Maple Manor
At the Maple Manor Assisted Living / Rehabilitation Facility in Wayne, volunteers provide a worship service featuring lively music, great fellowship, and the preaching of the Word of God for residents each Sunday afternoon at 2 pm. Since this ministry began in January of 2004, we have had the privilege of leading many residents and caregivers to Christ! As in all Fair Haven outreach ministries, the emphasis is on bringing the gospel out into the community so that others can find the Lord Jesus Christ and so that Christians can fellowship together around God's Word. The Maple Manor Ministry is coordinated by Brother Bill Forbush with assistance from a team of dedicated believers. For more information, please contact Bro. Forbush at (734) 525-2270.
