The Bible was written as a love letter to God s children so that His children may know whom He is and how they are to live in a way that pleases Him. The Bible tells us everything we need to know about life. If you long to know God through a very personal and thriving relationship and you desire to live the Christian life faithfully and know what God requires of you, you must do more than casually read your Bible and examine what others have said about His Word
One must interact with God's Word personally, allowing the Holy Spirit to work the transforming truth within the heart and the renewing of the mind. To see the truth for oneself, discerning what it means and applying that truth to your spiritual walk with God. That is the purpose of an inductive Bible study. When one discovers what God says, what He means, and how to apply His truths, one will be equipped for every aspect of the Christian life.
The overall goal for Precept Ministries at the Fair Haven Baptist Church is to assist in the equipping and strengthening of the saints, through the use of an inductive Bible study method, so that they may be effective soldiers and servants of Christ Jesus.
Adults and students (Grades 9-12) are welcome and encouraged to attend.
